Welcome to Barr Farms
LAND, LEGACY, LOCAL IN FLORIDA
At Barr Farms, we believe in growing more than just food—we’re growing a way of life rooted in tradition, sustainability, and connection.
What started as a small family venture has grown into a 20-acre working farm in Wellington, Florida, where Charolais cattle graze the pastures, chickens and ducks roam the garden, and tropical fruit trees stretch toward the sky. Every corner of Barr Farms tells a story—one that honors the land, builds on our family’s legacy, and supports a vibrant local community.
WHAT WE DO
We raise purebred Charolais cattle for breeding and beef production with care and respect. Our herd is pasture-raised and managed with a commitment to both animal welfare and environmental responsibility.
Alongside our cattle, we care for a lively flock of laying hens, roosters, ducks, and baby chicks that provide fresh, farm-raised eggs. Our tropical tree nursery is growing fast, with coconut palms, fruit trees, and native Florida plants available seasonally.
In 2025, we are in the process of expanding to offer equestrian services, art and photography sessions, and even stall leasing for horses. It’s all part of our commitment to sharing this land with others—whether for food, farming, or creative inspiration.
WHY WE FARM
We farm because we love this land—and we want to leave it better than we found it.
Our mission is simple:
To cultivate quality, care, and connection—from pasture to porch.
Every animal, plant, and project on this farm plays a role in that vision. Whether you visit for a dozen eggs, a photography session, or a quiet sunrise over the pasture, we want you to feel the difference that local, mindful farming can make.
